Terms and conditions

TradeQuote is provided on these terms ("we", "us"), based in Ireland. By creating an account or continuing to use the service you agree to these terms. If you are signing up for a business, you confirm you have authority to bind it; otherwise you confirm you are of legal age to enter a contract.

TradeQuote is software for trade businesses to manage customers, jobs, job photos, quotes, invoices and payment records, including an optional AI assistant that drafts quotes from a description you provide. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service under the plan you have selected.

Keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the accuracy of the information you enter, including the business details and prices that appear on documents you send to your customers. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

You must not:

• use the service unlawfully or for fraud, spam or misleading invoicing;
• infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights;
• interfere with the security or integrity of the service, including malware, probing, penetration attempts, scraping or circumventing plan limits;
• reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the service.

You are responsible for what you put into the AI assistant, for checking its output before you send it to a customer, and for having the rights to any content you upload. AI output may be inaccurate and is not professional advice.

You keep ownership of the content you enter. You grant us a limited licence to host, process and display it solely to provide the service to you. We may remove content that breaches these terms.

We retain all rights in the service, its software, documentation and branding. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you.

A free plan is available with limited monthly jobs and branded documents. Pro is billed monthly or yearly and renews automatically until cancelled.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. See also our refund policy.

We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Features may change, and maintenance or provider outages may cause downtime.

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, a security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may cancel at any time. After termination you have 30 days to export your data, after which it may be deleted.

To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost data or loss of goodwill. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot be excluded by law.

You indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the service, or your breach of these terms.

You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have locally.
